The Allen Entrepreneurial Institute hosted a reception for the Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders.
The YALI Network stems from the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) – President Obama’s signature effort to invest in the next generation of African entrepreneurs, educators, activists and innovators. This program brings over 500 young leaders to the United States each year for leadership training, academic coursework, and mentoring.
The Allen Entrepreneurial Institute’s mission is to increase the number and size of minority and women-owned businesses. Amongst our prestigious guests, AEI has hosted Attorney General Eric Holder, the Bahamian Consul, the President and First Lady of Zambia, the Queen Mother of Ghana, and many distinguished business leaders.
